Spring Festival is the real New Year of china. Almost every people working outside will go back to their hometown and spend the holiday with the family. Go home for the Spring Festival was the tradition of china.

When I was a child, I liked Spring Festival very much. My parents and relatives would give me the new year lucky money , so I could  bought the Catharine and some sock at my pleasure. But after got marry, you will not get the money any more, on the contrary you should give the new year lucky money to the junior of your relatives and friends.

Spring Festival is funny, but preparing for it was not a funny thing, especially in Kwangtung. Before the festival you must clean your house, it’s importance and verbose. And you must prepare the food, buy some flower , so on and so on….

Flower market of the spring festival was the most jollification place before that holiday. Cantonese always like buy some small orange tree to adorn their house, the orange tree means bringing fortune to me next year. If you want get your Ms/Mr. right next year, I suggest you should buy some peach blossom and put it in your room, sometimes it work.
